Own It! campaign was founded by a group of young women in Birmingham who are graduates of the UpRising Leadership Programme. 

We are united by our passion to help young women realise and celebrate their beauty. In order to do this we start conversations to broaden definitions of beauty, run workshops and provide tools for young women to improve and nurture their self-esteem.

We do this because low-self esteem should not be underestimated. The impact it can have on a young woman's aspirations, mental health and relationships can be critical.

We are continuing our work until we see a generation of young women who value their whole selves.
